A working economy, already decided.

An economy has a lot of dials: what a courier earns per stud, whether the Mayor may raise sales tax, how much of a business's takings the owner keeps. A template sets all of them at once. Apply one, then change whatever you disagree with.

Applying a template needs Metro on a server you manage, and you signed in with Discord. Reading one needs neither.

  • Strict RP

    A tighter economy for a server that wants scarcity and real consequences: lower job pay, licence violations enforced with in-game respawns, mandatory sales tax, credit gated behind a real score, and a Mayor's election cycle short enough to turn over within a week.

  • Civilian City

    No government, no elections, no fines — just driving. Every job type is on and pays above default, property zones are cheap to lease and split business income generously, player-owned businesses are open for anyone to buy, cars resell for more, and car financing needs a smaller down payment. Built for a server that's all civilian life.

  • Full RP

    Everything Standard has, plus sales tax, a 5% property tax feeding the treasury, recall elections, player-owned businesses at the shipped default rates, and an automatic fine for players who rack up wanted stars. Built for a server that wants government to feel like a real system with consequences.

  • Standard

    Metro's balanced government: an elected Mayor serving 14-day terms who appoints a Police Chief and Judge, income tax bounded 0-25%, and sales tax available but off until the Mayor turns it on. This is what /setup applies by default.

    A small taste of government: one Mayor you assign yourself, a flat 5% income tax, and nothing else turned on. Good for a server that wants the treasury and fine system without running elections.
