A CAD your officers run from the game.

Units follow their in-game player, the game’s own 911 calls arrive in the queue, and every screen updates as the server does. Records, civilians, courts and radio are in the same place. It is free on every plan.

Metro CAD live map of Liberty County with units on duty listed beside it and one open 911 call.
The live map: units by department, open calls and job stops on the county map.

Units and calls

A member of a law enforcement, fire and EMS or DOT department goes on duty with a callsign and sets a status from their department’s list. Position, team and vehicle come from the game, so nobody types them.

  • Statuses carry signal codes, such as Available 10-8 and On scene 10-23. Owners edit the lists.
  • Every 911 call made in the game becomes a CAD call once, at its postal, and follows the game when it moves or closes.
  • A unit is set Out of service by itself when its player leaves, and On scene when it reaches its call.
  • On a phone the unit panel becomes an MDT with big buttons and a two-press panic button.

Records and warrants

Look up a person or a plate, file citations and arrest and incident reports, issue warrants and put out BOLOs, each behind its own permission.

  • Charges come from your penal code. The fine and jail time are worked out by the server, never taken from the page.
  • Filing a citation or arrest writes a fine to the player’s wallet and starts jail time when jail is on.
  • A vehicle BOLO with a plate also goes on the camera hotlist, and units are alerted when a camera sees it.

Civilians and courts

Players make fictional characters with an ID card, licences, registered vehicles and a weapons permit, and can call 911 from the website or with /911 in Discord.

  • Prosecutors open cases from arrest reports. Judges set dates, rule, and can expunge a record.
  • A guilty ruling adjusts the fine and adds jail time. A not guilty ruling refunds the fine.
  • Defendants see their own case, but not the staff notes.

Radio and panic

Text radio runs on the website, with an all-units channel, a dispatch channel and one per department. Metro never sends radio into the game.

  • A panic opens a priority 1 call at the unit’s live position and alerts every unit and dispatcher.
  • Owners can post panic alerts to a Discord channel. The card pings only the roles they pick.
  • Messages are kept for 30 days.

What is free, and what is Plus.

Questions owners ask.

Is the CAD free?
Yes. Every part of the CAD is free on every plan. Plus raises limits such as lookups an hour and routing rules, and adds Metro Dispatch.
Do my officers have to type everything in?
No. A unit’s position, team and vehicle come from the game. Officers can also run the CAD from the game chat with ;cad, for example ;cad on to go on duty or ;cad run PLATE for a plate lookup.
Who can open the CAD?
Members of a law enforcement, fire and EMS, DOT, dispatch or law and courts department, plus anyone the owner gives the CAD permissions to. Each part of the CAD checks the member on the server, not just in the menu.
Can civilians use it?
Yes. A player with a linked Roblox account can make characters with an ID card and call 911 as one, on the website or with /911 in Discord.
Does it change anything inside ER:LC?
No. Metro only reads the game through the official PRC API. A few actions send a short private message to a player in game, such as telling a unit it has been assigned.
